Case Study No 1
Retired couple wanting to keep in touch with friends and family, both in UK and abroad, purchased computer and needed guidance as to how to use it efficiently to keep in touch with relatives and friends.
Discussed in detail what was required by the couple, what experience they had with technology, what they were hoping to be able to do.
Once this detail had been discussed, we offered training sessions on a one to one basis, for both husband and wife, with a duration of no more than two hours each session. Each session covered relevant topic. Within three sessions they were both using the PC with confidence, able to send and receive emails. By the end of six sessions they had also mastered the Internet, word processing and creating simple spreadsheets.
The husband then went on to learning how to download pictures and to load photographs from their digital camera.
Both have now found new hobbies, interests and the knowledge that they can keep in touch with family across the globe.
Case Study No 2
Our Client had recently been made redundant, had been using computers as part of their job, but only as data entry to pre setup systems. Their need was to learn how to use Microsoft Excel from scratch.
We provided regular one to one sessions once a week of two hour duration, working through a basic Excel course, including, formatting cells, the workspace window, toolbars, menus, simple formulas and charts.
We also provided a basic CD ROM tuition course for our client to use between session.
Within three sessions our client had, created their own spreadsheets, used formulas, and created charts from the data they had added.
Case Study No 3
Client is owner of Car Body Repair company, they are having installed a new computer system to be able to send the details of accident quotes direct to the insurance companies. Staff are required to have a basic knowledge of IT to be able to use the system.
Their need was to get staff trained within 4 weeks prior to installation of the new system.
We provided 4 two hour sessions for two staff, working to a brief provided by the installers as the minimum knowledge required to use the system.
Each person by the end of the sessions was able to prove their competance sufficient to be trained to use the new system.

Several of our clients have contacted us in panic, they have received a Virus through the email, can we help?
In all cases where we have been called to deal with Virus invasion we have successfully cleaned and eradicated the virus or viruses on the clients PC.
We also make sure that the client is aware of the need to continually update any Anti Virus Software, Firewalls, and operating systems.
Usually having one infestation by a Virus does the trick, they realise we were right and have got our message.
Case Study No 5
A Software House specialising in Mobile Working Solutions and Property Survey software required new versions of the software to be quality tested prior to being released. BML Business Support Services provided the expertise to ensure that the product was functioning as specified and producing correct results in reports.
We also produced documentation to be distributed as Release Notes, special Installation instructions for the companies implementors including notes on the latest bug fixes.
We have also been asked to go back to the company to provide further services for other products.
